CAPEL PISCO "MONTE FRAILE" ESPECIAL - 0,70L - CHILE
Pisco "Monte Fraile" Especial - A masterpiece of the art of distilling.
Monte Fraile Pisco Especial undergoes a double distillation and then ages in oak barrels for a year. Its deep amber appearance promises an incomparable pleasure. Aromas of citrus zest, grapes, raisins and ripe stone fruit unfold on the nose. A perfect balance and harmonious coordination make it a true pleasure experience. This pisco is a true gem for purists, and while it's almost too good for the classic pisco sour, it opens up new dimensions of taste.
About Pisco Capel: The Cooperativa Agrícola Pisquera Elqui Limitada (CAPEL) is one of the most renowned spirits producers and Pisco producers in Chile. Most of their acreage extends into the scenic Elqui Valley. Founded in 1935 by small pisco producers as a producers' cooperative ("Society of Producers of Elqui"), it became the 'Cooperativa Agrícola Pisquera Elqui Limitada' in 1964 after the "Producers Society of Elqui", "Cooperativa Agrícola Pisquera" and "Vitivinícola Limitada" merged. Over 1,200 cooperatives from the Copiapó, Huasco, Elqui, Limarí and Choapa valleys own around 4,500 hectares of Pisco vineyards. Most of these cooperatives are small producers with areas of up to 5 hectares.
The company is best known for its brands "Capel", "Alto del Carmen" and "Artesanos del Cochiguaz". Pisco-based cocktails such as Pisco Sour, Mango Sour and Pina Colada are also created under the 'Capel' and 'Capel Drinks' brands.
