The name speaks for itself. Courageous, natural and sustainable: this is wine in its purest form. PURO is made from organically certified grapes from our vineyard in Agrelo, Mendoza's leading wine region.

Colour
Intense purple red.

Aroma
Dark fruit mix with some red fruit freshness. Spiced and oaky with obvious aromas of coffee, anis, chocolate and a touch of cinnamon.

Taste
Complex and full of fruit with very fine grained tannins and very well integrated oak. Fine and elegant wine that is bursting of flavour.

Character
A winemaker´s wine. Complex, integrated and elegant, as reflective as the art behind the creation.

Organic malbec grapes are carefully chosen in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, an area known as the mecca grape production in Argentina. Located in alto Agrelo, at the foothills of the Andes Mountain range at more than 1100 meters of altitude. Native alluvial soil. Grown on a 15 year old organic vineyard, with high density of vines (4200 Ha), and low yield (less than 7000 Kg/Ha). The Malbec from Valle de Uco, which also grows on old organic vines is cultivated in sandy, calcareous soil. A drip irrigation assures that each plant receives the exact amount of water necessary.
We ferment in two different ways: concrete pools and french oak barrels. Macerations are slow, prolonged and intense so that the wine is structured and elegant. It spends a year in barrels before beeing bottled, where it gains body and volume
